My Teaching Philosophy:

I believe every student has the right to learn and succeed. It is the teacher’s responsibility to meet every students’ needs. As a teacher, I should adapt my teaching style to my students’ needs rather than the other way around. My goal is not only to teach students conceptually but also perceptually to better prepare them for their future careers. I believe every student can be and accomplish anything they want to and that no one should keep them from accomplishing their goals.
Classroom Management Rules:
  • Raise hand before speaking
  • Be in your seat ready to work before the first bell rings
  • Follow directions when given
  • Participate in classroom discussions
  • Bring completed homework daily
  • Sit in your assigned seat

Behavior Chart:

Students' classroom behavior will be monitored daily on the following chart.

Their positive or negative behavior will be reported to their parents daily. Students who have great or outstanding behavior at the conclusion of the school day will have an opportunity to shoot a basket on our classroom "learn ball" court. Making a basket on the "learn ball" court results in choosing a prize from the treasure box.
